This policy explains what happens to your information when you visit this site or buy one of our guides.
Who we are
SimpleMealPlans sells downloadable meal prep guides. Purchases are handled through our Gumroad store at simplemealplans.gumroad.com.
What we collect
This site. It is a static site with no forms, no accounts, no analytics, and no advertising pixels. Visiting it does not tell us who you are. Our host records standard server logs, as any web host does.
When you buy a guide. Checkout happens entirely on Gumroad, which acts as the merchant of record. Gumroad collects your email address, billing details, and payment information. We receive your email address, what you bought, and the country you bought from. We never see or store your card number — that stays with Gumroad and its payment processors.
When you follow us. If you enter your email on our Gumroad store, Gumroad stores that address so we can send you updates. You can unsubscribe from any email we send.
When you arrive from Pinterest. Our Pins link here and to our Gumroad pages. We do not receive personal information from Pinterest. Pinterest and Gumroad each set their own cookies and collect their own analytics under their own policies.
How we use it
- To deliver the guide you bought and give you access to updated versions
- To answer support questions
- To send occasional updates, if you asked for them
- To understand, in aggregate, which products sell
That is the whole list. We do not build profiles and we do not make automated decisions about you.
Who else sees it
Gumroad, which processes payments, delivers files, and handles sales tax and VAT. Pinterest, if you interact with our Pins. Each operates under its own privacy policy. We do not sell your personal information, and we never have.
How long we keep it
Purchase records stay in our Gumroad account for as long as the account exists, since they are needed for order history, refunds, and tax records. Email subscriptions last until you unsubscribe.
Your rights
Wherever you live, you can ask us to:
- tell you what information we hold about you
- correct it if it is wrong, or delete it
- send you a copy in a portable format
- stop sending you email
Email tim@smallbizautomation.io and we will respond within 30 days. Some purchase records may need to be retained for tax purposes even after a deletion request. If you are in the UK or EU you may also complain to your national data protection authority. If you are in California you have the right to know what is collected and to request deletion.
Children
These guides are aimed at adults. This site is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.
Not medical advice
The guides are for education and general information. They are not medical advice and not a substitute for care from a doctor or registered dietitian. Talk to your doctor before changing how you eat, particularly before starting a ketogenic diet if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, have diabetes, kidney, liver, pancreatic or gallbladder disease, a history of disordered eating, or take prescription medication.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it.
